Feasibility Study for Wastewater Treatment Plants in Central Jawa and Bali

NWT is providing its expertise in wastewater treatment for a GIZ-funded study for Central Jawa and Bali in Indonesia. The feasibility study includes technical and economic aspects of a leachate treatment plant for an existing landfill in Bali, a central wastewater treatment plant in Citarum with integrated faecal sludge treatment, and a concept for the collection and treatment of about 500 small industrial dischargers in 20 clusters producing wastewater from batic, ciu and tofu processing in the Bengawan Solo catchment. It is expected that the project will lead to international funding for the selected measures with a possible support programme for the Indonesian government.
